SEMINAR - RACHELE FUSSONE (Università di Catania, Italy) Analysis of Circular Supply Chains under disruptive events

In the current industrial sector an increasing number of companies worldwide are adopting Circular Economy principles within their supply chains. These new circular business models focus on reducing waste by promoting the recycling, reuse, and remanufacturing of goods. On the other side, when disruptive events like natural disasters or health crises, occur, they affect supply chain performance.

The goal of this study is to analyze the resilience of circular supply chains under disruptive events, such as demand spikes, and to observe if the circular supply chain archetypes can improve supply chain resilience.
