Secondments for UVigo staff as part of the ExPliCit project

• To have a job contract at the Universidade de Vigo OR to be affiliated to a research group at the Universidade de Vigo (e.g., PhD candidates). 
• To have a good level of English.

Secondments as part of the Explicit project have a minimum duration of 30 natural days. The budget allocated for each 30-day secondment is € 2300. This budget can be used for mobility, accommodation and subsistence during the secondment and to supplement the salary of the seconded employee.

During the secondment, the seconded person is expected to work on project tasks that have been previously agreed with the coordinator. However, the seconded person also has time during the secondment to develop their own work, project or research.

The ExPliCit Project - external link is a European MSCA Staff Exchange project. Through the collaboration among the partners from the consortium, ExPliCit aims to anticipate plausible Circular Economy futures, assess which of those plausible circular futures are more probable to happen, and study how to redirect efforts to the more desirable ones. The project also studies the implications of plausible circular futures on supply chains, as well as the economic, social and ecological consequences of reconfiguring those supply chains. The Universidade de Vigo research group “Post-Growth Innovation Lab” (https://postgrowth-lab.webs.uvigo.es - external link) leads work package 1 (WP1). The group offers several secondments for the UVigo community.   

We offer the following positions:

• 1-secondment month in Brussels, Belgium (approximate dates: from 15 February to 15 March): The secondee will mainly contribute to adapting the ABIS partner's Scenario Exploration System to circular economy and supply chain management configurations, preparing a workshop in Sheffield and/or producing academic papers arising from the project.
• 1-secondment month in Sheffield, UK (approximate dates: from 15 January to 15 February): The secondee will mainly contribute to adapting the ABIS partner's Scenario Exploration System to circular economy and supply chain management configurations, preparing a workshop in Sheffield and/or producing academic papers arising from the project.
• 1-secondment month in Sheffield, UK (approximate dates: from 15 February to 15 March): The secondee will mainly contribute to adapting the ABIS partner's Scenario Exploration System to circular economy and supply chain management configurations, preparing a workshop in Sheffield and/or producing academic papers arising from the project.
• 1-secondment month in Catania, Italy (to be conducted between February and October): The secondee will mainly contribute to linking different work packages and/or producing academic papers arising from the project.
