During his stay, he will collaborate with Professor Yoshihiro Nakano, a prominent researcher and activist focusing on Degrowth and Postdevelopment in Japan. Professor Nakano is notably engaged in translating key degrowth literature into Japanese, contributing significantly to the discourse in the region.
Mario's engagement at Rikkyo University includes two seminars, where he has presented projects from the PGIL (Post-Growth Innovation Lab). Additionally, he will lead a workshop at Osaka University on December 21. Beyond academic events, Pansera is conducting fieldwork with local communities and collectives in Tokyo and Kyoto. His research will explore alternative approaches to framing and enacting technology, further enriching his understanding of grassroots initiatives in these areas.
