ATTRACT Team Attends OCU Webinar on the Right to Repair

Members of the ATTRACT project attended a webinar organized by OCU focusing on the Right to Repair, EU directives on the Right to Repair, consumer rights and practical guidance to support informed repair decisions.

The ATTRACT project team participated in a webinar hosted by the OCU (Spanish Consumers and Users Organization) on the Right to Repair. The session provided an overview of what the right to repair entails, how consumers can exercise it, and how existing warranties protect users when repairing products. The webinar covered key practical topics, such as which products can be repaired, how warranties apply to new, second-hand, and refurbished products, where to find reliable information on repairs or professional assistance, and the availability of potential financial incentives to make repairs more affordable. Guidance was also offered on how to identify products that are easier to repair, promoting the everyday application of the "Repair, Revive" philosophy. This 90-minute session provided valuable insights for the ATTRACT team, reinforcing the project's commitment to consumer-oriented perspectives and the practical application of the Right to Repair.
