Javier Lloveras Presents Research at British Academy of Management Conference Post-Growth Innovation Lab Co-Director has travelled to London to present his work

Javier Lloveras, Co-Director of the Post-Growth Innovation Lab, travelled to London to present his paper "Narrative Pluralism in the Circular Economy: Insights from the Right to Repair Movement" at the British Academy of Management (BAM) 2026 Conference, hosted at Royal Holloway, University of London.

The paper forms part of the ATTRACT project, which examines how the Right to Repair (R2R) movement can contribute to a transition towards a post-growth society. The R2R movement challenges restrictive repair policies imposed by manufacturers, calling for legislative measures that would give consumers and independent technicians access to the tools, documentation, and spare parts needed to repair their own products.

By exploring the diverse narratives that drive the R2R movement, the research sheds light on how grassroots and policy-level efforts around repair can help reshape technological and economic systems to prioritise sustainability over perpetual growth.
