Brais Suárez Eiroa

Brais Suárez is a postdoctoral researcher in the field of political ecological economics with a special interest in post-growth transitions. He is currently a member of the Post-Growth Innovation Lab at the University of Vigo. So far, he has published several articles in high-ranking social and environmental science journals dealing with the interface between economics, ecology and politics.

In recent years, Brais has gained experience in teaching, including the supervision of master theses and the ongoing supervision of PhD researchers. He has also coordinated national projects (FCT-22-18266 POSTGROWTH S.A.: PONTEVEDRA and FCT-23- 19468 POSTGROWTH S.A.: VIGO) and both national ( TED2021-131826A-I00 ARCA) and international work packages (WP1 in HORIZON-MSCA-2021-SE-01 ExPliCit). He has participated in numerous international conferences, seminars and workshops and completed postdoctoral stays in the UK, Barcelona and Porto.

In addition, he has experience in dissemination and knowledge transfer, including publishing articles in popular science journals such as The Conversation, participating in media appearances and coordinating scientific events.
