Brais Suárez Eiroa is a postdoctoral researcher in the Margarita Salas fellowship at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona. He is also a member of the Post-Growth Innovation Lab at the University of Vigo. His research focuses on the intersection of the economy, society, and the environment. His current investigation aims to bring together the concepts of circular economy and degrowth. His theoretical background covers Ecological Economics, Political Ecology, and Degrowth. His research addresses various issues such as planetary boundaries, fair distribution, circular economy, supply chains, and just transitions. He is actively involved in several research projects, notably the European H2020 JUST2CE and MCSA EXPLICIT projects, as well as the Spanish TED ARCA and FECYT POSTGROWTH SA: PONTEVEDRA projects.
